What is project management?
Project management is the process of leading a work team to success with a given project. The goal is to finish a project within a given time and budget.
Sounds simple, but it’s a critical role in many industries such as:
- consulting
- pharmaceuticals
- engineering
- information technology
And beyond.
According to Northeastern University, the average salary for a project manager across all industries is $116,000.
What’s the difference between PROJECT management and PRODUCT management?
They sound the same but the two are very different.
A project manager is responsible for leading a team to complete a project within given parameters.
On the other hand, a product manager is responsible for leading a team to create a product within given parameters.
Where can I learn project management?
While there are plenty of places to learn about project management, we think courses and books are the best way to learn.
So today we’re going to show you 6 project management courses… and a few books.
